Found amongst the bullrushes on the banks of the mighty river Mersey at the end of the 1960s, I was susceptible to the infectious musical jingling and jangling that was rife at the time. I, like most of my mates, started playing in bands straight after leaving school and within a matter of mere months began to attract a spectacular degree of apathy from the general public that was to continue for years. In truth, I was extremely fortunate to play with some great musicians and gifted sonwriters but we always did find that dream record deal as elusive as the Scarler Pimpernel.

Electro Acoutsic - FA400FCES

Having relocated to London some years ago, the sheer logistics of being over 200 miles away from the musicians I grew up with have steered me down the acoustic singer-songwriter path. Stepping out of the shadows of your band mates can, of course, prove a tricky task but I think it's only now that I'm really beginning to find myself as a musician and writer. I recently had one of my songs played during half-time at Anfield and hopefully that's just the first of many dreams to come true!

Have a listen!
